AUTOSAR COM · Configuration help
Configurator
Say in plain words what one signal should do. You get the exact settings, what COM will do with them, and a warning where settings do not fit together.
What COM will do
Checks
The small code after a line names the rule or setting in the AUTOSAR COM specification it comes from.
Where the bits sit
The settings
Each row is one setting. The first column says in which box of the configuration it lives. Times are always in seconds, so 100 ms is written as 0.1.
| Where | Setting | Value | Why |

Messages to the application
Messages are not set in COM itself. They are set in the configuration of whoever uses COM, normally the switchboard (RTE), in a box called ComUserCallback. The signal is linked to it with ComUserCallbackRef.

As ARXML
The same settings in the form a configuration file uses. Put it next to your own file to compare.
Show the ARXML
What this tool does not know. It looks at one signal in one packet. It cannot see the other signals in the packet, the layers below COM, or the extra settings your tool vendor adds. Handle numbers are left out because tools assign them. Names follow AUTOSAR release R25-11. In projects on older releases the messages are set on the signal itself, with names such as ComNotification and ComTimeoutNotification.
